Government

There are so many rights we have as Americans. So Many we take for granted. There are rights we do not even know we have. Of all the wonderful rights we have, I believe the most important right I have is the right to freedom of religion. I have a deep regard for my freedom of religion for it allows me to believe in my god and practice my religion without getting in trouble.

Sure we have the nice freedom of speech and the right to the press along with more great rights but none can compare to the freedom of religion. I feel that my right to the freedom of religion is most special to me because I have grown up with my religion and feel extremely attached to it. Im very fond of my religion, so much that I would be willing to give up my freedom of speech if I would to ever come upon such a situation. My religion is also something shared and practiced throughout my entire family. The fact that it is a big part of my family makes it even more special and of greater value to me.

My religion has had huge positive impacts on me and my family helping us in many ways. Religion gives us hope. Many times my family and I pray due to problems we are currently facing and most of the time those problems are resolved rather quickly. My religion shines a bright warm light over me during dark cold times. It has always enlightened me making me the good person I am today. My religion brings and holds my family together keeping us from losing hope when all seems lost and always reminding us we have each other for when we are in hard stressing situations. I feel protected within my beautiful religion thus making me feel safe. I am therefore grateful for having the right to freedom of religion as none of this would be possible without it. My religion is my reality, my world, it is my life.
